American Metal is a family owned and operated business for three generations. Our company is a full service mechanical and sheet metal H.V.A.C. Company, capable of handling both, Union and Non Union projects.

Aside from all our in-house fabricating and installation teams, American Metal also provide a full service team capable of handling all types of services including electro static precipitators, direct and indirect fired return air units and all HVAC equipment.

At the core of American Metal’s team is Michael Pereira. Michael is a graduate of Pamlico Technical College where he majored in Sheet metal Fabrication and System designs. He is an expert in the field for over 25 years; Michael worked with both community groups as well as private entities in solving their H.V.A.C. problems.

As an H.V.A.C. contractor, Michael has created an in house specialty team consisting of engineers and managers whose primary function is to make the most difficult project workable within the budget and on schedule. From the onset of a project to the end they work very closely with the principals involved and their staff, in either tailoring the design to satisfy budgetary considerations or developing innovative solutions to suit often difficult problems that may exist within the shell of the construction project.

Our Field manager, Anthony Pereira Jr., with his 20 years experience is in charge of all outside operations. He watches over all outside projects and addresses any problems that may occur in the field during the course of projects to assure completion on or ahead of schedule.

In our Engineering department, Mr. Anthony Pereira Sr. is in charge, who is a graduate of Delahanty Engineering School majoring in H.V.A.C. engineering for 8 years and has almost 40 years experience in H.V.A.C. engineering. His background in major H.V.A.C. stems back to when he was head of operations on the construction of Nassau County Jail and Smith haven Mall projects.
